Hudson County Law Day to be Celebrated Tuesday, May 1st in Jersey City
Hudson County students in grades 6 through 12 who won competitions in art, photography, essay, poetry, and rap will be honored when the Hudson Vicinage celebrates its annual Law Day on Tuesday May 1st at 12noon.
The Hudson courts have partnered with New Jersey State Bar Association and Foundation and the Hudson County Bar Association and Foundation for the ceremony in the rotunda of the Justice William J. Brennan Jr. Courthouse at 583 Newark Ave., Jersey City, NJ.
Olympian and Director of Community Outreach for the School of Business at New Jersey City University, Gail Marquis, MBA, will deliver the keynote address on this year’s theme, “Separation of Powers: Framework for Freedom”.
The winners of the Hudson County High School Mock Trial competition and the Mini Mock Trial fourth-grade participants were also invited to attend the ceremony.
